Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza is an exquisite actress who has been leaving an imprint on the tiny screen. The year was 1976. De La Garza was born with a Mexican-American dad and an Irish-American mother in Columbus Ohio. After a brief period, she moved to Texas to pursue her medical therapy training at University of Texas. De La Garza did not remain in Texas for very long, and she soon moved to Orlando Florida, where she played a variety of performances as an actor. These included commercials and independent films. Although she only had a few role, De La Garza rapidly discovered her love of acting. Then she moved into New York and in 2001 she was offered her first stage role in the soap opera for daytime viewers All My Children as Rosa Santos. There were minor roles in JAG and Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men during the first half of 2000. She was cast in her first big role in the year 2004 on the short comedy The Mountain. De La Garza played Maria Serrano and was paired with the greatest TV actors including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Mitch Pileggi as well as Mitch Pilegge. The most memorable part of her career took place in the year 2006 on Law & Order where she was A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. She appeared on 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff was a short-lived. The character she played earned De La Garza numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even numerous ALMA Award noms. In addition, the National Hispanic Media Coalition awarded De La Garza the Impact Award, which is awarded for exceptional performances on drama-based television shows. De La Garza landed a frequent role on CSI Miami a few moments after. She was Marisol Deko as the spouse of David Caruso's persona Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was in NBC's more dark show Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. The series was canceled after two seasons. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Milano is born of Italian origin and has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years older. The family she was raised in was a religious and conservative family. Milano began her career as a child when her nanny brought her along to an audition in the acting field. She was one of four girls chosen out of over 1,000 hopefuls. Milano was featured in television ads, Off-Broadway productions as well as her role in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
